ECONOMICS, MADE CLEAR
UNDERSTAND
Make difficult economic concepts clear and connect them to how economies actually work.
ANALYZE
Move beyond description. Build chains of reasoning, interpret evidence and explain economic relationships.
EVALUATE
Develop balanced judgments, recognize limitations and write conclusions that actually answer the question.
HOW TUTORING WORKS
Built around the student—not the textbook.
Every student arrives with different strengths, difficulties and goals. Tutoring starts there.
01
START WITH THE STUDENT
We identify what the student understands, where they’re struggling and what they want to achieve.
02
BUILD UNDERSTANDING
Lessons focus on the concepts and skills that need attention—not simply working through a textbook chapter by chapter.
03
APPLY AND PRACTICE
Students work with questions, data, cases and written responses while receiving immediate, targeted feedback.
04
DEVELOP INDEPENDENCE
The aim is not dependence on a tutor. It’s a student who understands the subject and can approach challenging work with greater confidence.

QUESTIONS
A few things parents often want to know.
What subjects do you tutor?
I provide one-to-one tutoring in Economics and Business Studies, including IB and A-Level courses.
Do you work with both IB SL and HL Economics students?
Yes. I work with students studying both IB Economics SL and HL, as well as A-Level Economics.
What happens during tutoring sessions?
Sessions are built around the individual student. Depending on their needs, we may work on conceptual understanding, analysis and evaluation, written responses, data or case-based questions, exam preparation, or current course material.
Is tutoring only for students who are struggling?
No. Some students need help understanding difficult material, while others already perform well and want to strengthen their analysis, evaluation, writing or examination technique.
How do we know whether tutoring is a good fit?
Start with a complimentary 15-minute fit call. We can discuss the student’s course, current needs and goals before deciding whether to arrange a lesson.
READY TO TALK?
No commitment. Just a chance to see whether working together makes sense.
